The new location at Deer Creek should be a better fit for our family needs.  We will have a cul-de-sac to ourselves so we can mingle with every family outside.  All the cabins are at the same level (no hill vs lake) and at the same rate!  Cabins are newly renovated with the same set up as previously, one double bed room and two bunks in the other room.  Sadly, there is no access to the lake from behind the cabins but there is a beautiful newly renovated lodge within walking distance for a swimming pool, workout rooms, restaurant/bar, and access to lake activities.  The park has a marina, fishing, horse trails, hiking, etc so we can still do all the things we have become used to doing.  For groceries etc there isn't much at the Mt. Sterling exit.  The park suggests that if coming from the north heading south on I-71 that you stop in Grove City at the Stringtown Rd exit as there is a Kroger to the West and a Walmart Supercenter to the east.  If you are coming from the south heading north on I-71 it is suggested that you take the Washington Courthouse exit and go east into town where there is a Kroger and Walmart Supercenter.  If you have any questions about the area or the park please email or call me and I will be happy to assist! 

The family reunion meal will be approx. 2:00p.m. on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 in the cabin area.  There will be a main meat of Ham provided from the family funds. All you need to bring is your beverages and your side dishes to share. We have purchased plates, cups, napkins, plastic utensils, plastic serving spoons, and tablecloths from the family funds so that you don't have  to worry about dragging them with you, washing your dishes or making sure items are returned to the right cabins. 

After the meal we will hold a "brief" family meeting to discuss plans and take a collection for the 2025 reunion.
